Broomhill Sands (Free Parking)
The best-kept parking secret at Camber Sands. This county council car park at the eastern end of the beach (near Jury's Gap) is completely free all year round. About 300 spaces on gravel, with no marked bays.
- Free parking, no time limit during the day
- Direct access to the watersports zone of the beach
- Height barrier in place (no campervans or roof boxes)
- No toilet facilities (15 minute walk to Camber village)
- Fills up fast in summer. Arrive before 9am on sunny weekends
- Frankie's at the Beach food van often open nearby
Other Alternatives
- Camber Castle pub: £10/day, first come first served
- Poundfield car park: £10/day, more space
- JustPark: private driveways from £6.80/day
- Gibbet Marsh, Rye: £2.75 all day, then cycle in (3 miles)
💡 Local Tip:
On busy summer days, traffic on the single access road into Camber can be gridlocked. Arrive before 9:30am or after 3:30pm. If you are using RingGo, remember to "check out" when you leave, otherwise you will be charged for a full day. Better still, park at Gibbet Marsh in Rye for £2.75 and cycle the dedicated path to Camber. You will skip the traffic entirely.
